Luxury Interior Design in the Kitchen and Diner
Embracing our ethos of salutogenic and functional living spaces, this home renovation project centred on the transformation of the kitchen and diner into a luxury haven tailored to our clients’ lifestyle. Previously inadequate in terms of functionality, the kitchen underwent a significant redesign to enhance both utility and aesthetics.
The renovation saw the kitchen cabinets hand repainted and reconfigured to accommodate additional modern appliances, including an integrated Quooker boiling water tap and extra ovens, optimizing efficiency and style. A custom-made foxed mirror was installed behind the existing Aga, not only enriching the space’s visual appeal but also allowing the homeowner to engage more dynamically with family and friends seated at the expansive island bar.
The dining area was reimagined around a bespoke river resin table, inspired by the natural beauty of the Lake District. This unique piece, reflecting the serenity and dynamism of the region’s rivers and woodlands, became the focal point, symbolizing our commitment to unique, locally inspired luxury interior design.
Creating a Cozy Snug with a Touch of Luxury
Adjacent to the kitchen, the snug serves as a tranquil retreat, a testament to our design philosophy that combines comfort with elegance. Here, the Lake District’s influence merges with our clients’ personal tastes. Local Herdwick wool fabrics and carpets, celebrating regional craftsmanship, envelop the room, providing a soft, warm foundation that speaks to both sustainability and luxury.
This space is thoughtfully designed to ensure continuity from the kitchen while incorporating distinctive elements like our clients’ affection for pink hues and African wildlife. The snug remains an intimate area for relaxation and reflection, enhanced by a welcoming fireplace, a nod to traditional comfort within a contemporary setting.
