“We called on the help of Charlotte Findlater. After living in our home for three years, we needed a big change, and someone who would understand and care for our ancient home whilst making significant changes. We fell for Charlotte’s approach to design and life, she is very driven by her strong environmental ethos. Through Charlotte’s approach to design, we learnt a lot about how important it is to select sustainable products and Charlotte designed a number of bespoke features for the project all of which form a closed loop system she very much focused on the use of natural materials and yet installed a high level of technology into our building including a ground source heat pump, lighting control and cctv. Our building is healthy, she even selected healthy paint, our cushions are stuffed with British lambswool and our timber floors are all reclaimed! We now have harmony and the most serenely peaceful and beautiful, healthful home which we love to show off and talk to our friends about our unique experience. We will absolutely use Charlotte again and are looking forward to another collaboration with her very soon!”
